5.10. Tree Removal.
There will be no strip clearing of all trees on any Lot in the Subdivision.
Wherever possible, a natural tree buffer shall remain on both the rear and sides of all Lots. Brush and scrub trees may be removed from any Lot if so desired; provided, however, no trees measuring six inches or more in diameter at a point two feet above ground level may be removed without the written approval of the Architectural Control committee, except for diseased or dead trees.
· Within 15 business days after we receive the request, ARC will come out to inspect the trees you wish to remove
· Removal requests for trees that are dead, dying, diseased, insect infested and/or present safety concerns for homes/residents will be approved.
· If there is a question regarding the condition of the trees, further analysis will be required from a certified arborist which will need to be submitted to ARC for review.
· Associated fees for further review by certified arborist or the like shall be paid by the homeowner.
· ARC will provide a decision in writing via email in response to the request.
· Trees cut without ARC approval will incur a $250 per tree fine.
Tree Removal Requests should include the following fields:
· Reason for removal
· Trunk diameter of each tree to remove
· Number of trees to remove
· Photographs of trees in question
· Owner name, address, email, phone
· Proposed removal date
